The message thread could increasingly replace the not-so-interactive web for everything from saying hello to your friend to finding and buying a house. ML, bots and AI will feed this transformation from pages to threads, but they’re only a facilitator to a larger sea change that’s happening related to how people want to manage their time, attention and decision making processes. Messaging design and technology is just at the beginning of this shift.
