About this Hands-On

Learn the basic techniques you will need to plan content so it can be modelled and stored in ways that support your product vision and user goals.

We'll look at domain, content and data modelling alongside practical tips for communicating and collaborating with team members. Understanding the process of structuring content is only part of the problem, as communicating requirements amongst wider team members can be a challenge. I'll share my personal experiences of how I have collaborated with extended teams (domain experts and database experts as well as developers and product owners).

This session will be a mix of some practical hands-on activities: basic domain modelling and content modelling tasks alongside some personal case studies and general principles.
