Agile teams, technology and culture: doing good work

15–16th June 2017
at etc.venues St Paul's

A 60 minute Keynote by:

Jane Austin

About this Keynote

I am delighted to be giving the keynote at Agile in the City London. A keynote is an opportunity to draw breath, look around and think about the culture and the context that we work in.

In my keynote I will be looking at several interconnected trends and asking what they mean for us as agile teams, digital designers and technologists.

I also want to think about the role of ethics in design, and how they inform our work - in other words, how to be a Good Team.

About the Speaker

Jane is an award-winning designer and has spoken and given keynotes at conferences all over the world (she once flew to Chile for the weekend to do a talk - ask her about the earthquake). She currently works as Design Director at MOO, the online print business that is passionate about great design and the difference it can make to its customers and the world.

Jane loves building high performing design teams and leading digital transformations. Prior to MOO she grew the team at The Telegraph from one to twenty, and led the redesign of the website and several apps, worked at GDS (home of, in an online trading firm, in start-ups and in agencies.
